Thank you Summer, you have been good!
Hi lovelies! It October 14th as I am typing this post and we have had a few extra summer days this week. It was 25 degrees Celsius yesterday and today we hit the 23 C also!! It’s kind of unreal to be sitting in the garden and looking at the trees getting red and yellow at the same time! And I want to keep this feeling for ever! Therefore I have teamed up with Fotofabriek.nl , I want to make a nice album with all the pictures so that I can look back on it when winter hits 😉 Our summer began also quite early for us, the hubby is…

Just do it?
Just do it? Could it be really that easy? I haven’t written a post in a long while, I couldn’t set myself to it. This is going to be a personal and vulnerable post so please be kind 😉 Where do I want to go with this post? Actually I don’t know, I felt the urge to write it after a session with a coach, we talked about what is holding me back and how I am problably not the only one. And he just said “Just do it”. So simple yet the most difficult! My life is good as it is now: I have a good job, a nice…

Weightloss journey update
So, how is the weightloss journey going?? Good question, my last post about it is from March 2017, you can read it here. A few things have happened since then. Despite the great way of working of Weight Watchers I couldn’t keep myself on the weightloss wagon. I felt off, getting back to my old habits of eating what’s is easy and fast to prepare, not thinking ahead and letting myself go. I have kept training for a while, running and doing Cross fit which helped me keep the weight I had lost off. I kept sufforing from a lack of energy and my belly was not my best friend.…

Oops I did it again! shoes addict
Hi there! Oops I did it again ( on the tune of Britney’s song) My name is Raymonde and I’m a shoe addict! (Everyone replies : Hi Raymonde!). I think it’s the most common addiction that touches women, right? I mean, I can slim down or gain a few pound, i stil can count on my shoes to be on top. I may not alsways be happy with my waist size but my shoes are always something to show off. Since a few years (since 2014 exactly) it has been even easier for me to satisfy this addiction thanks to JustFab. Why I order through JustFab, you may ask? I…

Let me introduce you to Nya, our new family member
Once upon a time, we were a family of 5: the hub, me, our son, Boris the red cat, Oliver the British short hair and Copper, the beagle. Copper was my hub best paw-friend since 2002. Unfortunately we lost her last June. She left a huge hole but it was the best for her. We did say, before she passed away, that we were done with a dog. But we have been surprised to miss the dog vibe in our home. After a few weeks we felt ready to welcome a new member of the family. We did some research and we fell in love with the…

Miss Frenchy travels: family vacation in Germany
Early this year we booked our family vacation, this time we would head to Germany (which is not a surprise) but we chose a new region: the Schwalbische Alps. We have been to the Eiffel for the last few years, even though we love it very much we wanted to visit another region. Our idea was to go to the Black Forrest but I made a tiny little mistake by looking for an accommodation (Oups). We ended up in the Schwalbische Alps. It’s in the state of Bad-Wurtemberg, our house was in Hayingen, a small village between Stuttgart and Ulm. We have booked a house for 10 days…

5 tracks to run faster
After giving birth I started running with a group from work, I liked but I couldn’t keep up. Last June I give it a new try. In first instance I decided to go running in an attempt to lose weight but soon it became a necessity to empty my mind and give me headspace. Of course it helps to shed the pounds too 😉 During my running it occurs to me that some tracks help me running faster and I want to share my top 5 with you. 1. Gasolina – Pitbull & Daddy Yankee 2. Country Girl (shake it for me) – Luke Bryan 3. Bailar – Deorro &…

WW diary 1: the start of my weight loss journey
Welcome to my weight loss journey! Let me introduce myself: I am a 30 something woman who thought to be too fat in her teens when she actually was not and eventually became overweight. I  also became a very good yo-yo’er 😉 That’s me, in August 2014 on a super sunny day. When I look at it I can tell that this woman is not happy with her self but she smiles even though. I wasn’t even at my highest weight. I remember feeling ashamed of myself that day. I want to take this road/journey for the last time. I was always busy with my weight. As a young girl…
