Weightloss journey update
So, how is the weightloss journey going?? Good question, my last post about it is from March 2017, you can read it here. A few things have happened since then. Despite the great way of working of Weight Watchers I couldn’t keep myself on the weightloss wagon. I felt off, getting back to my old habits of eating what’s is easy and fast to prepare, not thinking ahead and letting myself go. I have kept training for a while, running and doing Cross fit which helped me keep the weight I had lost off. I kept sufforing from a lack of energy and my belly was not my best friend.…

5 tracks to run faster
After giving birth I started running with a group from work, I liked but I couldn’t keep up. Last June I give it a new try. In first instance I decided to go running in an attempt to lose weight but soon it became a necessity to empty my mind and give me headspace. Of course it helps to shed the pounds too 😉 During my running it occurs to me that some tracks help me running faster and I want to share my top 5 with you. 1. Gasolina – Pitbull & Daddy Yankee 2. Country Girl (shake it for me) – Luke Bryan 3. Bailar – Deorro &…

Welcome to my weight loss journey! Let me introduce myself: I am a 30 something woman who thought to be too fat in her teens when she actually was not and eventually became overweight. I also became a very good yo-yo’er 😉 That’s me, in August 2014 on a super sunny day. When I look at it I can tell that this woman is not happy with her self but she smiles even though. I wasn’t even at my highest weight. I remember feeling ashamed of myself that day. I want to take this road/journey for the last time. I was always busy with my weight. As a young girl…

Weigh in Tuesday- week 3 2016
HI Frenchies, My apologies for my abscence last week, life happened. I also was a bit sick. I’m still looking how to deal with lifestyle changes and the changes in the Weight Watchers program. I also have a bit of trouble finding and keeping my motivation. Past week I did another cross fit session and it suits me. Now I have to keep it going. As a result of my lower commitment I only lost 300 gr. Even with this small loss I don’t feel comfortable in my own skin. I hope and pray to (re)find my spirit and getting what I aim for. I see a lot of inspirations…

Weigh in Tuesday- week 51
Hi Frenchies, Welcome to (I think) my last weigh-in would be for 2015. It’s been a while since I have posted an update. Just like for many of you, the last month of the year seems to be a busiest one of the year!l My father came to visit us for Saint Nicholas and stayed for a few days. We were all pleased to see him as his last visit was in august. Nathan was delighted to play with his French grandpa. Last week, my sister-in-law and her husband, H and me went to Amsterdam to see the play Anne, based on Anne Frank’s diary. We had a very nice…
